Artificial Intelligence (A. I.) is a man-machine communications mechanism whereby the machine applies intelligent logic to the user's actions and reactions.

In other words, you can talk to our system, and it will talk back and hold an intelligible conversation with you.

Below is an actual conversation with our A. I. System (Hal).

Driver: Hello Hal.
Hal: Hello! How are you today?

Driver: I am fine. How about you?
Hal: That's good. I am fine also.

Driver: I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow at noon.
Hal: You have a doctor's appointment on June 14, 2000 at 12:00 pm. I will remind you when this time is near.

Driver: Rob's phone number is 835-2351.
Hal: I wrote this person's phone number is my phone book.

Driver: Call Rob.
Hal: I am now contacting Rob at 8352351. The phone is ringing. Please pick up your phone to talk to Rob. 

Driver: Open word.
Hal: I will now open the program "Microsoft Word" (Hal actually opens the program Microsoft Word)

Driver: John's email address is John@aol.com.
Hal: I have learned John's email address. If you ask me to email this person, I will automatically start your favorite email program and write in the address for you. 

Driver: Email John.
Hal: I'll now start an email for john@hotmail.com  (Hal automatically starts your email program and writes in the address for you)

Driver: Rob's address is 3175 West 42nd St.
Hal: Cool. I like learning new things like that.

Driver: Sally's eyes are blue.
Hal: Cool. I have learned something new.

Driver: What is Rob's address?
Hal: Rob's address is 3175 West 42nd St.

Driver: What color are Sally's eyes?
Hal: Sally's eyes are blue.


Driver: Help me research World War 2.
Hal: I will help you research this topic on the Internet. (Hal actually opens a browser windows and performs a search using your favorite search engine)

Our A. I. system adapts itself to the car owner's language and character, and will in effect 'learn' from the car owner as the months and years pass.

Specialist applications can be designed and Hal's knowledge base and vehicle control facilities upgraded and customized.
